Shirleen Carter is a proud eBay seller who has been a part of the eBay community since 2006, having joined the platform after Hurricane Katrina devastated Louisiana. Shirleen and her husband started off as casual eBay sellers, mainly selling vintage Dick, Jane, and Sally Readers and other unique vintage items such as custom jewelry. As parents of a college-going son, the additional income from their eBay sales was a huge help in paying for unexpected expenses.

Over time, Shirleen became more involved in the eBay community, serving as an eBay Seller Meeting Leader for the Louisiana chapter. Through her community involvement, Shirleen has served in various executive positions, including the East St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce Executive Board, President of Rotary Club of Slidell, and President of the Social Services Network of St. Tammany.
